Spiritual Unity Church is conveniently located west of Chicago, Illinois. Starting in April of 2004, Spiritual Unity Church will be moving from our current Westmont location and moving to our new Spiritual Unity Church Downers Grove location. 

Our purpose is to put forth the Unity teachings as interpretted by Unity School of Christianity's founders Charles Fillmore and Myrtle Fillmore. Charles Fillmore and Myrtle Fillmore founded Unity School of Christianity over 100 years ago in Kansas City, Missouri. The Fillmore's developed Unity Magazine, Daily Word Magazine, Weekly Unity and Wee Wisdom. Unity teaches the principles of Practical Christianity. Unity's prayer ministry is Silent Unity which handles 1000's of prayer requests yearly.

Spiritual Unity Church is the Chicago areas most dynamic and fastest growing church based on the Unity teachings as put forth by its founder's Myrtle and Charles Fillmore. Each Sunday we read from Unity's Daily Word magazine and pray in the manner of Unity School's prayer ministry, Silent Unity.

Our founder and Minister, Russell Sorensen, began his Unity church experience at Unity Church of Oak Park in Oak Park Illinois. Unity of Oak Park in located on Euclid in Oak Park Illinois and is itself one of the finest Unity churches in the Unity Movement and is certainly the premier Chicago Unity Church. Unity Church of Oak Park is led by Richard Dale Billings and Helice Greene.

Richard Billings is a long time Unity Minister and student. Richard has been a minister at Unity of Oak Park in Oak Park, Illinois for over 30 years. Helice Greene has been a minister at Unity of Oak Park for over 10 years. Together, Rev Richard Billings and Rev Helice Greene have put together one of Unity School of Christianity's premier ministries. Unity Church of Oak Park is a member of the Association of Unity Churches.

Spiritual Unity Church serves the entire Unity Church going public in the  Chicago area and currently has congregants from the following areas: Westmont, Illinois, Downers Grove, Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, Naperville, Illinois, Barrington, Illinois, Mundelein, Illinois, Wheaton, Illinois, Naperville, Aurora, Hinsdale, Westchester, Oak Park, Des Plaines, Libertyville, Oak Brook and many more area communities.

Spiritual Unity Church Downers Grove is currently forming an outreach to the communities of Naperville, Aurora, Wheaton, Elmhurst, Westmont and Hinsdale.
